A 0-0 draw with Southport was marred by a broken leg and dislocated knee suffered by Sam Muggleton, Darlington's on loan left back.<br />
Both teams finished the season in lower mid table.

Formed as Bacup in 1879, the club moved into their current home in 1889 and have been known as Bacup Borough since the 1920s, apart from a brief recent spell when they added the name Rossendale to their name.   • Gala Fairydean Rovers 4, Gretna 1, 25/01/2020. Netherdale, Scottish Lowland League. Visiting goalkeeper Aaron Taylor watching the first-half action as Gala Fairydean Rovers (in red) host Gretna 2008 in a Scottish Lowland League match at Netherdale, Galashiels, with the adjoining rugby ground simultaneously hosting a Scottish National League 1 match between Gala RFC and Heriot's FP. The home club were established in 2013 through a merger of Gala Fairydean, one of Scotland's most successful non-League clubs, and local amateur club Gala Rovers. The visitors were a 'phoenix' club set up in the wake of the collapse of the original club, which had competed for a short time in the 2000s before going bankrupt. The match was proceeded by a protest by around 500 home fans against the club's controversial owners Owen Oyston, many of whom did not attend the game. The match was won by the visitors by 2-1 with two goals by Ronan Curtis watched by just 4,154 almost half of which were Portsmouth supporters.

The home dugout with badges at the home of Tow Law Town, the Ironworks Road ground, pictured before the club hosted Heaton Stannington in a Northern League division two fixture. It was the visitors first visit to Tow Law, having been promoted from the Northern Alliance last season.
