The New Saints manager Mike Davies giving his press conference at Park Hall Stadium, Oswestry after his team's Champions League 2nd qualifying round 2nd leg game with visitors Bohemians. Despite leading 1-0 from the first leg, the Dublin club went out following their 4-0 defeat by the Welsh champions. The match was the first-ever Champions League match in the UK played on an artificial pitch and was staged at the Welsh Premier League's ground which was located over the border in England. Alan Morgan Llandudno manager leaves the dressing rooms to do a TV interview in Welsh. Needing a win to guarantee promotion to the top division of Welsh football for the first time, Llandudno took the lead twice, but were held to a draw against Denbigh Town.<br />

Home manager Paul Marshall being interviewed by the press on the pitch before Harestanes AFC take on Girvan FC in a Scottish Cup preliminary round tie, staged at Duncansfield Park, home of Kilsyth Rangers. The home team were the first winners of the Scottish Amateur Cup to be admitted directly into the Scottish Cup in the modern era, whilst the visitors participated as a result of being members of both the Scottish Football Association and the Scottish Junior Football Association.
