  • Edinburgh City v Spartans, 11/04/2015. Commonwealth Stadium, Scottish Lowland League. A corner flag with club logo at the Commonwealth Stadium at Meadowbank before the Scottish Lowland League match between Edinburgh City and city rivals Spartans, which was won by the hosts by 2-0. Edinburgh City were the 2014-15 league champions and progressed to a play-off to decide whether there would be a club promoted to the Scottish League for the first time in its history. The Commonwealth Stadium hosted Scottish League matches between 1974-95 when Meadowbank Thistle played there. Photo by Colin McPherson.

  • The New Saints 4 Bohemians 0, 20/07/2010. Park Hall Stadium, Champions League 2nd qualifying round 2nd leg. Bohemians midfielder Paul Keegan taking a corner at Park Hall Stadium, Oswestry during his team's Champions League 2nd qualifying round 2nd leg game away to The New Saints. Despite leading 1-0 from the first leg, the Dublin club went out following their 4-0 defeat by the Welsh champions. The match was the first-ever Champions League match in the UK played on an artificial pitch and was staged at the Welsh Premier League's ground which was located over the border in England. A member of the back room staff putting the corner flags in place at the home of Tow Law Town, the Ironworks Road ground, before the club hosted Heaton Stannington in a Northern League division two fixture. It was the visitors first visit to Tow Law, having been promoted from the Northern Alliance last season.   • 16.09.2008 Leek, England. A Clitheroe player taking a corner against Leek Town during the clubs FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round replay at Harrison Park, Leek. The first match ended in a one-all draw but it was Clitheroe who progressed to the next round winning the replay one-nil, despite having a man sent off in the second half. Action from the first-half at Garden Walk Stadium, during the FA Vase 4th round tie between Gornal Athletic (in yellow) from Dudley in the West Midlands and visitors Wisbech Town. Gornal, from the Midland Alliance and appearing for the first time at this stage of the tournament, defeated Wisbech, who play in the Eastern Counties League, by 4-2 after extra-time, after the visitors had lead two-nil after 10 minutes. Stocksbridge Park Steels were born from the works team of the local British Steel plant that dominates the town north of Sheffield.<br />
Having missed out on promotion via the play offs in the previous season, Stocksbridge were hovering above the relegation zone in Northern Premier League Division One East, as they lost 0-2 to Pickering Town. Stocksbridge finished the season in 13th place.

After heavy rain, the pitch was declared playable after volunteers worked on it, on the morning of the game. Hallam won 3-2 to go top of the division in front of a record crowd of 1128.

  • Boldmere St. Michaels 2 Worcester City 2, 16/10/2021. A member of the ground staff putting a corner flag in place before Boldmere St. Michaels play Worcester City in a Midland Football League Premier Division match at the Trevor Brown Memorial Ground in Sutton Coldfield. The home club were formed in 1883 and have played in local and regional football ever since, whilst the visitors were formerly one of the leading non-League clubs in England before a move from their St. George's Lane ground in 2013 started a downward spiral in their fortunes. A corner flag with club crest at Broadhurst Park, Manchester, the new home of FC United of Manchester during the second-half of the club's match against Benfica, champions of Portugal, which marked the official opening of their new stadium. FC United Manchester were formed in 2005 by fans disillusioned by the takeover of Manchester United by the Glazer family from America. Following Kilmarnock's relegation in 2020-21, the first game of the new season is the Ayreshire Derby, the first league match between the teams in 28 years. Due to relaxation of Covid restrictions the match was played in front of a crowd of 3200 Kilmarnock fans. The game was shown live on BBC Scotland.

A home club player taking a corner kick during the first-half as Denton Town played Winnington Avenue in a Cheshire League, League 1 fixture at Whittles Park, Denton, Greater Manchester. Formed as Bradford Parish, they changed their name to its present one in 1994, relocated to the current ground the following year and stepped up to the Cheshire League in 2006. Watched by a crowd of 50 spectators, second-placed Denton could only draw this game 1-1, leaving them behind league leaders Knowsley South by five points with only three games each remaining. The Yorkshire International Football Association was formed in 2017 and accepted by CONIFA in 2018. Their first competative fixture saw them host Parishes of Jersey in the Heritage Cup at Ingfield stadium in Ossett. Yorkshire won 1-0 with a 93 minute goal in front of 521 people. After several years of relegations, bankruptcies, and ground moves, the club is fan owned, and back on an even keel in the National League North.<br />
A 0-0 draw with Southport was marred by a broken leg and dislocated knee suffered by Sam Muggleton, Darlington's on loan left back.<br />
Both teams finished the season in lower mid table.
