Mansfield Town achieved promotion back to England's Football League by winning the Conference National in season 2012-13. Field Mill was the oldest ground in the Football League, hosting football since 1861 although some reports date it back as far as 1850, with Mansfield Town having played there since 1919. The match was won by the home side by 1 goal to 0 and was watched by a crowd of 333. Canvey Island play at their home matches at The Frost Financial Stadium or Park Lane. The ground is a few feet below sea level, making it one of the only football stadiums in the UK to be as such.   • A club badge on the corner flag at the Look Local Stadium. Stocksbridge Park Steels v Pickering Town,  Evo-Stik East Division, 17th November 2018. Stocksbridge Park Steels were born from the works team of the local British Steel plant that dominates the town north of Sheffield.<br />
Having missed out on promotion via the play offs in the previous season, Stocksbridge were hovering above the relegation zone in Northern Premier League Division One East, as they lost 0-2 to Pickering Town. Stocksbridge finished the season in 13th place.

  • Llandudno club badge Llandudno 2 Denbigh Town 2, 20/03/2015. Maesdu Park, Huws Gray Alliance Football League. Needing a win to guarantee promotion to the top division of Welsh football for the first time, Llandudno took the lead twice, but were held to a draw against Denbigh Town.<br />
Llandudno installed an artificial 3G pitch in 2014. The pitch is available for hire, and enables to club to have an active community programme, and teams in every age range, all playing at Maesdu Park. Photo by Paul Thompson.

  • The Hallam badge. Hallam 3 Brigg Town 2, Northern Counties East League Division One, at Sandygate. After heavy rain, the pitch was declared playable after volunteers worked on it, on the morning of the game. Hallam won 3-2 to go top of the division in front of a record crowd of 1128.

Around 100 fans in two coaches from England participated in the 2016 Lowland League Groundhop and they were joined by other individuals from across the UK which helped boost crowds at the six featured matches.
