Supporters of Irish club Bohemians applaud their team off the field at Park Hall Stadium, Oswestry at the end of their team's Champions League 2nd qualifying round 2nd leg game away to The New Saints. Despite leading 1-0 from the first leg, the Dublin club went out following their 4-0 defeat by the Welsh champions. The match was the first-ever Champions League match in the UK played on an artificial pitch and was staged at the Welsh Premier League's ground which was located over the border in England. Gornal, from the Midland Alliance and appearing for the first time at this stage of the tournament, defeated Wisbech, who play in the Eastern Counties League, by 4-2 after extra-time, after the visitors had lead two-nil after 10 minutes. Having missed out on promotion via the play offs in the previous season, Stocksbridge were hovering above the relegation zone in Northern Premier League Division One East, as they lost 0-2 to Pickering Town. Stocksbridge finished the season in 13th place.

  • Welcome to Blackwell Meadows sign, by the tunnel. Darlington 1883 v Southport, National League North, 16th February 2019. The reborn Darlington 1883 share a ground with the town's Rugby Union club. <br />
After several years of relegations, bankruptcies, and ground moves, the club is fan owned, and back on an even keel in the National League North.<br />
A 0-0 draw with Southport was marred by a broken leg and dislocated knee suffered by Sam Muggleton, Darlington's on loan left back.<br />
Both teams finished the season in lower mid table.

Home striker Nacho Novo walking down the tunnel before a television interview on the pitch at The Oval, Belfast after Glentoran hosted city-rivals Cliftonville in an NIFL Premiership match. Glentoran, formed in 1892, have been based at The Oval since their formation and are historically one of Northern Ireland's 'big two' football clubs. A referee's assistant waiting for the teams in the tunnel area before Port Talbot Town played host to Caerau Ely in a Welsh Cup fourth round tie at the Genquip Stadium, formerly known as Victoria Road. Formed by exiled Scots in 1901 as Port Talbot Athletic, they competed in local and regional football before being promoted to the League of Wales  in 2000 and changing their name to the current version a year later.
