The first supporters permitted to attend the game queueing outside the ground two hours prior to kick-off before Tranmere Rovers host Walsall in a League Two fixture at Prenton Park, Birkenhead. The game was the first of the season at which spectators were allowed to be present under the Covid-19 restrictions. A crowd of 2000 watched the game which was won by the visitors by 3-1.
