Red balloons are released from the pitch at Liverpool Football Club's Anfield Stadium during a memorial service to mark the 25th anniversary of the 1989 Hillsborough stadium disaster. The Hillsborough disaster led to 96 Liverpool football fans losing their lives in a crush at an FA Cup semi final tie against Nottingham Forest. The families of the victims campaigned against the original verdict of the incident and were rewarded with a new inquiry held in 2014 into events at the match at Hillsborough.
