Scarborough Athletic v Stalybridge Celtic

Scarborough Athletic were formed after the original Scarborough FC were wound up in 2007. For ten years the club ground shared with Bridlington Town, before returning to play at the Flamingo Land Stadium in 2017-18.
Promotion was the aim in 2018-19, however the club under performed. Following the 2-3 defeat to Stalybridge Celtic, Manager Steve Kittrick was sacked. Scarborough finished the season in 8th, while Stalybridge were 17th, 2 points clear of relegation. Scarborough Athletic were formed after the original Scarborough FC were wound up in 2007.
