Penrith are the only Cumbrian team in the Northern League. All the other teams are based across the Pennines in the north east.
Penrith, winless at kick off, lost a thriller 3-4, in front of 100 people. They won five games all season, but were reprieved from relegation following Blyth's resignation from the league.
