35 images Created 8 Jan 2015

The Scottish Junior season gets under way with matches at Pollok in Glasgow's South Side, Kirkintilloch's historic old ground and the West Lothian giants Linlithgow Rose. All these clubs eventually became part of the Senior game in Scotland and joined the pyramid system. Junior football in Scotland was semi-professional adult football which was administered by a separate body, the Scottish Junior Football Association. Photos by Colin McPherson.
