Mansfield finished the season one place and three points outside the play offs.
Notts County finished fifth, but lost to eventual play off winners Coventry City in the semi final.
Kevin Nolan was sacked on 26th August 2018, Harry Kewell replaced him, but was sacked on 13th November. Neil Ardley took over but was unable to prevent Notts county, the world's oldest football league club, from relegation to the National League.
