  • Glentoran 2 Cliftonville 1, 22/10/2016. The Oval, NIFL Premiership. Shirts and slogans in the home dressing room at The Oval, Belfast, pictured before Glentoran hosted city-rivals Cliftonville in an NIFL Premiership match. Glentoran, formed in 1892, have been based at The Oval since their formation and are historically one of Northern Ireland's 'big two' football clubs. They had an unprecendentally bad start to the 2016-17 league campaign, but came from behind to win this fixture 2-1, watched by a crowd of 1872. Photo by Colin McPherson.

Northwich Victoria will be the lowest-ranked side in the FA Cup second round after a shock replay win over National League side Boreham Wood. The match was won by the away side by 2 goals to 1. Strips laid out in the home dressing room at the Deeside Stadium before Connah's Quay Nomads played Llandudno in a Welsh Premier League match. Both clubs represented Wales in the 2016-17 Europa League, the first time either had competed in European competition. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, watched by 181 spectators. Bruna spent five years in the youth set-up at Real Madrid from 2002 to 2007. A Queen's Park player's top hanging in the home team's dressing room prior to their fixture against Alloa Athletic in a Scottish League second division match at Hampden Park, Glasgow. The home team won by one goal to nil with a goal by Alan Trouten in the 88th minute. The Capital One cup was formerly known as the League Cup and was competed for by all 92 English Premier League and Football League clubs. Manager Steven Noble making notes in the home dressing room before Gala Fairydean Rovers' first home match in the Scottish Lowland Football League against Edinburgh City at Netherdale in Galashiels. Gala were formed in 2013 by an a re-amalgamation of Gala Fairydean and Gala Rovers, the two clubs having separated in 1908 and their ground in the Scottish Borders had one of only two stands designated as listed football stands in Scotland.
