60 imagesThe 2012 Championship Play Off Final between West Ham and Blackpool at Wembley. West Ham won 2-1 thanks to an 87th minute goal from Ricardo Vaz Te. The attendance was 78,523. West Ham are (in 2020) still in the Premier League. Blackpool went into decline, and were relegated in 2015 and 2016, before being promoted to league One in 2018. Further good news for Blackpool was the removal of their controversial owners the Oysten family in 2019.

30 imagesHereford United 1 Swindon Town 2, 18/02/2012. Edgar Street, League Two. Swindon under Paulo De Canio were promoted as Champions, Hereford finished second bottom and were relegated. Hereford were expelled from the Conference on 10 June 2014 due to financial irregularities, and wound up in December 2014. A pheonix club, Hereford were formed and currenlty (2020) play in the National League North. After several League One play off appearances Swindon were relgated back to League Two in 2017. The match, between the teams occupying the top two places in the division, ended one-all in front of 1868 spectators, Hyde's largest home attendance in 15 years. Ewen Fields is used by Manchester City reserves for matches and has been rebranded in city's colours and with their sponsors advertising around the ground, with the club changing its name from Hyde United to the present one.
